Hottest Upcoming Mobile Phones in 2011

2011 is considered to be the Breakthrough in Mobile Industry. Behind this is the rise of Tablets and Smartphones, increase in Data Connections and the Developers for building mind-blowing apps day by day.

In India, the fire is already set and the competition is on its peak due to the emergence of small companies like Micromax, Lava, Karbonn etc. which are affecting the Big Giants market (Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson). So, to maintain their sale, Nokia with Intel is launching its new Operating System called MeeGo in 2011. With this other companies are also launching their new models this year. So, lets have a look on the Hottest Upcoming Mobiles in 2011.

Nokia N9

It's features are similar to Nokia E7 except for a few that it does in a different way, which we gives it a big advantage over the E7. First of all the N9 runs on MeeGo. Now as improved as Symbian ^3 is, it still doesn't feel thoroughly modern the way iOS, Android or Windows Phone 7 does. But that's because it is an old operating system and although it has learned quite a few new tricks, there is no hiding its age. This is where MeeGo comes in. Being a brand new operating system, it one ups Symbian in a very crucial area, and from whatever we have seen from the images and videos it is better than Symbian ^3.

Now when you add this new operating system to the already brilliant hardware of the E7, along with a higher resolution display and a 8 MP camera, you have the makings of a very brilliant smartphone. Not that the E7 would be a bad phone, but we aren't really looking forward to it the same way we are for the N9.

Samsung Galaxy S2

Samsung Galaxy S2 has a Super AMOLED display of 4.3” size and gives 1280x720px resolution. The wide and large touchscreen has beautiful features like accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light sensors. It has a 2GHz CPU that also comes with 1GB RAM/4GB ROM. There is 32GB of built-in flash memory in the handset which may be expanded to upper limit of 32GB with use of microSD card slot. The multimedia features of Samsung Galaxy S2 are also great such as its 8 MP camera which can record videos in full HD. It will run on Android 3.0 which will be the hottest feature of this phone.

Dell Venue Pro

It looks like Dell’s rebellious son, the Windows Phone 7 powered Venue Pro, is like a normal Windows phone. But its great-looking exterior and the comfort of a full QWERTY keypad, which is gracefully concealed under a sliding mechanism makes it different from others.

Samsung I8700 Omnia 7

While HTC and LG has launched new Windows Phone devices onto the market. Samsung has put all its efforts with the Omnia 7. In terms of software, there's very little to choose between all of the available phones, as they all operate in very much the same way. The Omnia 7 loses points for its bizarrely located power button, but it makes up for this quirk with a glorious Super AMOLED screen, an excellent 5 MP camera and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Windows Phone clearly has a long way to go, and this first wave of products will undoubtedly be improved upon. In the meantime, if you've a burning desire to join Microsoft's mobile revolution, it's a very close race between the Omnia 7 and HTC's HD7.

Motorola Milestone 2

The Motorola Milestone 2 offers some tempting tweaks to one of our favourite Android phones ever. But one of the things we loved about the Milestone was its pure, untouched Android goodness, and the Milestone 2 has ditched that in favour of Motoblur.

Motoblur adds some handy features, but we blame it for making our review sample annoyingly sluggish, and you probably won't get Android updates as quickly as with rival phones. Overall, then, despite a trim body and an improved keyboard, we don't think the Milestone 2 is an improvement on its predecessor.

Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone

It's hard to believe that what we're looking at is real -- but we assure you, the picture above is in fact the PlayStation Phone you've long been waiting for. As per the news, the device you see is headed into the market soon, likely boasting Android 3.0, along with a custom Sony Marketplace which will allow you to purchase and download games designed for the new platform. The device snapped up top (and in our gallery below) is sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 (a chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster), 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen is in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches. Looking almost identical to the mockup we hit you with this summer, the handset does indeed have a long touchpad in the center which is apparently multitouch, and you can see in the photos that it's still bearing those familiar PlayStation shoulder buttons. For Sony buffs, you'll be interested to know that there's no Memory Stick slot here, but there is support for microSD cards.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 (Anzu)

The Xperia X12 is the X10 on steroids. It has a bigger 4.3-inch display using AMOLED technology, a first for a Sony Ericsson phone. It also has a 12 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, hopefully the one from Satio because it was awesome and 720p video recording. It runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor but more importantly Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which should make better use of all that horsepower. The rest of the specifications are yet to be fully disclosed, as the handset hasn't been officially announced, but we will find out soon.

LG Optimus 2x

LG isn't the first brand you'd associate with really cracking hardware, but the Optimus 2X could be the phone to change all that. It is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 based phone, which means it combines a dual core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and a GPU on a single chip. This allows it to do awesome things such as 1080p video recording, which is not possible on the current crop of smartphones. The Optimus 2x also has a 4-inch display, 8GB built-in memory, 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, gyroscope and flash and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. We will be keeping a close eye on this one.

Apple iPhone 5 or 4G

Apple iPhone 4G or HD? Still not very clear. Few things are same as the old iPhone. We even know when it will be coming out as Apple is known to stick to its yearly schedule. As is usually the case with Apple devices, there is very little to know about them till they actually launch, so this is more like a wish list rather than what the device will actually come with. For starters, we expect it to have 4G connectivity (and be called iPhone 4G). Then it would have a faster 1.2GHz dual core processor, possibly NVIDIA's Tegra 2, considering how good the Apple NVIDIA relationship is. Then we also expect a revised antenna design. There's no way Apple would make the same mistake twice of placing the antenna at a point where it can easily be blocked by a user's hand.

The camera may see a bump as well, mostly in the video recording area. If it indeed comes with Tegra 2 then 1080p video doesn't seem too far fetched as we saw on the Galaxy S 2 and the Optimus 2x. The real question is how Apple will manage to put in a battery that will power all of this. But knowing how seriously Apple takes battery life we can be sure it would be as good as, or even better than the current hardware. It wouldn't be the first time Apple would have defied the laws of physics.

2011 is looking much more realistic. Still, there's a lot of time between now and the holidays... so keep your fingers crossed !

My brother has told me about Sidekick 4G and Nokia 9. I think both phones are so cool, and I love the features. Honestly, I'm a big fan of Sidekick, and I'm so excited to have a Sidekick 4G. I have a Sidekick 2008, and I usually use this phone because it is more convenient when I'm travelling to other countries. I'm free to use any sim card. Well, my service provider had unlocked it before I left.

Nokia has announced the launch of Nokia X1-00, the younger brother of X2-00 handset. The Nokia X1-00 runs Series 30 operating system and is a music-centric handset.

look like today(2011) those samsung galaxy s2 are the top ten best phone. Although the spec predicted here and the design not as awesome as the real one. I'm totally gonna buy that samsung galaxy s2 if the design is like the predicted one.
